PAUSE x IDEA Committee Panel

PAUSE and the UTM Psychology Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access (IDEA) Community Committee are hosting a virtual panel discussion for undergraduate students at UTM who identify as belonging to an underrepresented minority group (URM; e.g., including but not limited to people who identify as first-generation, 2SLGBTQIA+, BIPOC, low-income, people with disabilities).

To register, please follow this link: https://utoronto.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0tce-grDsvH9ZmUeMtGSh0W6iQ8d7y73NH After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. If you have questions, please send them to: utmpsychologyideacommunity@utoronto.ca.

Join us March 7th from 2:00-3:30 pm to learn from and engage with our panel of fantastic student and faculty panelists from the URM community. Panelists will discuss the unique challenges they have faced as people who identify as URM in psychology and will share their insights about resources that have helped them navigate a career in psychology.

Prior to and throughout this session, undergraduate students will have the opportunity to ask questions and following the panel, we will have an open discussion that will provide a space for students to share their own experiences. From this event, we also hope to gain more insights into what URM undergraduate students studying Psychology at UTM need.

We hope to see you there! PAUSE + IDEA communities
